சிந்துஜன் வரதராஜா (Sinthujan Varatharajah) lives and works as a political geographer and essayist in Berlin, Germany.

Her*his work deals with the question of statelessness, mobility and displacement with a focus on infrastructure, logistics and architecture. In 2017 - 2018, சிந்துஜன் வரதராஜா was a board member of the Asylum Advisory Council of the European Commission. In 2020, she*er was part of the 11th Berlin Biennale for Contemporary Art with the research and art installation "how to move an ark". Varatharajah's first book, "an alle Orte, die hinter uns liegen", was published by Hanser Verlag in 2022. Together with Moshtaril Hilal, வரதராஜா published the discourse book "Hierarchies of Solidarity" in 2024 by Wirklichkeit Books Verlag. Their joint installation "Papierlast" is part of the 15th Berlin Biennale for Contemporary Art this year.
