Agnes Essonti Luque (she/they) is a Cameroonian-Spanish artist and curator whose work is deeply rooted in Black feminist and postcolonial thought. Drawing from her ancestral heritage and childhood memories, she explores themes of home and nostalgia. Her interdisciplinary practice spans photography, textiles, installation, and performance, weaving together a rich tapestry of media and meaning. For Luque, the search for home is a hybrid journey—one that navigates between cultures, languages, and memories—where historical narratives are continuously reimagined and reshaped.
