Station
Am Lindenwäldle
A tour with Tomas Wald through the depths and ambivalences of the migrant and minority district of Weingarten: founded in 1936 by the National Socialists with the “Asozialensiedlung” – far outside the city gates. Today, the lively Weingarten is the most intercultural place in Freiburg with the most children, festivals, languages and great mutual respect for one another – but only one elementary school!
Tomas Wald is an urban analyst and founder of the self-help organization Roma Büro e.V.
